Geography Impact: What the results look like...
As a result of the way we teach, our pupils are enthusiastic about geography and develop a keen curiosity about their home and the wider world. Pupils are equipped with knowledge about diverse places, people, and physical and human environments. They have acquired life skills such as map reading, and they understand the importance of conserving resources. The impact of our geography curriculum is that our learners are equipped with the geographical skills and knowledge that will enable them to be ready for the secondary curriculum, and for life as an adult in the wider world.
Climate and environment will become increasingly important as our children grow into adults. Our geography curriculum ignites that spark of hope within them that, through knowledge and understanding, we have the power to improve things for the next generation - our keen geographers are also courageous advocates for the future of planet earth.
