Science

At Cranham Primary, we value science as a crucial subject, which encourages children to engage with the world around them and ask questions. Our two year rolling programme for science prioritises investigation skills and these are revisited every year through a variety of practical activities. Within their science learning, children will focus on specific skills such as: asking questions; making predictions; setting up tests; observing and measuring; recording data; interpreting and communicating results and evaluating. We use knowledge organisers to secure a sound grasp of each topic area, in readiness for the next phase of their education.
