Teaching Assistant
Overview
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the team in our nurturing village school. Cranham is a supportive school, where guidance and training are provided; however some experience of working with pupils with a variety of complex needs would be an advantage. The successful candidate would be required to: - Build positive, professional relationships with children, parents and staff. - Be flexible and pro-active, and enjoy finding solutions to difficulties that children present. - Having phonics knowledge would be preferrable; however we can provide training if required. The post is for 16 hours a week and is split as follows: Monday: 9AM-12PM Tuesday: 9AM-12PM – 1PM-2PM Wednesday:9AM-12.00PM Thursday: 9AM-12PM Friday: 9AM-12PM In addition, you will also be offered a midday supervisor role for 1 hour a week to cover a lunch time break on Monday 12PM-12.30PM and on Thursday 12PM-12.30PM.
